How it works
Nothing to install, no placement test to sit before you are allowed to start.
Filter by language, price, availability and what you want to work on. Every profile shows the rate, the languages the tutor teaches and the reviews other students left.
Availability is shown in your own timezone, so the slot you click is the hour you turn up. Book one lesson or a run of them, no schedule to commit to.
The classroom opens from the lesson page. Video, audio, chat and screen sharing, with nothing to install and no separate meeting link to chase.
Tutors

LinguMon is new and the first tutors are still being approved. If you teach a language, this is a good moment to apply: the early profiles get the first students.
Money
There is no subscription and no lesson package you have to finish. Here is the whole arrangement.
Top up your balance once, then spend it lesson by lesson. Credit does not expire and you can top up any amount from the packages listed on the pricing page.
Each booking takes the lesson price out of your balance at the moment you book. Tutors set their own hourly rate, so what you pay depends on who you pick.
Cancel more than 12 hours before the start and the full price goes back to your balance. Later than that, 50% comes back. If the tutor cancels, you get all of it back.
Set your own rate, publish the hours you actually want to work, and keep the students you build up. We handle booking, payment and the classroom, and take a commission on each lesson that is stated plainly on the tutor page before you apply.
Most tutors offer one trial lesson at a reduced rate, 30 minutes long, one per tutor. It is there so you can find out whether you get on before booking a full hour.
